Project Title: “Tolerant thinking through the lens”

Number of participants: 24 participants (10 young speakers Russian and 10 Estonian young speakers) + 2 leaders from each group
Partner: Kesklinna Vaba Aja Keskus (Kesklinna Youth Center)
Age: Participants in age 11-16 years, leaders 18+
Project duration: 4 months (01.01.2016 – 01.05.2016)
Aims:
- Facilitating communication between youth of two different nationalities living in Tallinn, Estonia (Russian speakers and Estonian speakers)
- Develop skills and knowledge in taking pictures and making photo exhibition
- Discover the term “Tolerance” and Attitude to positive thinking
- Helping to expand the horizons of young people by using non-formal methods
Tasks:
- to develop and improve language skills (we will talk on 3 languages English, Russian and Estonian, but the programme will lead on English as we decided with partners)
- to make a photo exhibition that will cover topic and focus on tolerant thinking
- to try to answer the questions together through discussions and debates
- learn, how to work with photo camera
- cooperate and organize the exhibition together and show their skills and point of view in action in the public place in Tallinn, in city where they live.
