On 16.11.2018 Youth Club Active had a chance to arrange a small-scale Human Library within the frames of an international conference „My home, our home: what unites us in a multicultural community”. Ronni Abergel, the founder of Human Library method, took part in a panel discussion in the conference, then running a theoretical workshop on Human Library, assisted by our Book Coordinators. 7 Books took part in this experience, on the topics of ‘Vegan’, ‘Krishna follower’, ‘Former Drug Addict’, ‘Life with Parkinson’s Disease’, ‘Non-binary’, ‘Muslim Woman’, ‘Latin American’. The workshop, which had one conversation round 30 minutes in length, was attended by 20 people.
