Human Library Estonia was introduced in Narva for the very first time. It was organised with the help of Narva Art Residence. Due to the location of the event, it was happening in two languages: English and Russian. This time our Books were on the topics of: polyamory, veganism, life of a refugee, life of an Estonian Muslim, former drug addict, story of an Iranian, people with special needs, Krishna follower, active youth. During the event we had three 30-minute conversation rounds, with short breaks in between. The event was attended by 40 people of different ages and backgrounds and collected mostly positive feedback from both Books and Readers. The youngsters who attended the event did so in frames of the project on the topic of stereotypical thinking and inclusion of people with special needs. As always, we are looking into improving our events so they reach more people and make more impact. Stay in touch and don’t miss our next Human Library – more information coming soon!
